I find the Cee Ray to be a comfortable boat, friendly crew, and great choice of locations around Catalina. If you have a specific sites in mind, Arnie or Mike will attempt to get you there, conditions permitting.

Re their location which is in Long Beach, I think this is good, for it is centrally located between Orange and LA counties. It's not the posh landing where the Encore used to be, but it's an ok area. I personally have not had any trouble with theft from my car while being parked in the lot overnight and during day trips.

I hope this has helped. If you want to know more about different sites around Catalina, I would suggest purchasing a Catalina Map that is put out by Franko. His descriptions of each site are very accurate.
