Awesome indeed! I wasn't holding out much hope for vis on the Avalon, and as we descended into the midwater schmutz got mentally prepared for resignation, but was totally blown away when we got down on the wreck. Alas, the giant sea bass were too skittish and too far away for my fisheye, but there were several big lings and some daddy garibaldi guarding their nests.
