Ej,

As I noted the dive industry continues to amaze me. Most divers whine about spending $99 for scuba classes as too much money but yet many of that same group defend, if not advocate, wasting so much money on gimmicks. My remote was given to me for free with the TV, I quickly reviewed Leisure Pro's website. I suspect most will agree that they fairly represent the average cost of gear, if not they are underselling most brick and mortar local dive shops.

Accordingly, per their site:

Dive Tracker $324.95
Spare Air 193.75
Apollo split fins 197.50
Aeris Atmos 2 computer 359.95
Ankle weights 26.95
---------

Total spent on un-
necessary gear $1,103.10
========

It makes no sense to spend that kind of money to buy needless gear to solve for easily fixable skill defeciencies.
