We wrapped it in shrink wrap to preserve the skin/scales and put it into a walk-in freezer overnight. The next day we wrapped it in bubble-wrap for insulation and put it on the deck of a fast boat. The museum staff met us on the mainland with a van and got it to their freezer before it thawed. I don't know how they will preserve it for display, but I hope they can capture the color and flash.
