I've never heard anyone on a boat I was on say they weren't happy to have theirs regardless of skill or experience.Anything that will add an extra layer of safety - regardless of training- is always a good thing - and I think it's cool too - I've been trained and trained and retrained in navigation and I still turn the wrong way to get to my car in a store parking lot- I'm just never going to be Christopher Columbus- and I sometimes envy people who have a tracking device.Now if only they could invent one for cars.
