My center is very center. I put weight on my feet to keep it off other parts of my body. I like to dive and do photography but I also like to show up for work the next day. Older photogs often use ankle wieghts, and I was taught by an older photog who had some issues similar to mine. I would agree that some people don't evaluate their weighting properly. In a perfect world, I would change my weight every time I pick up a different camera - reality is that I don't always do it do to time and the problem of having to carry extra weight. Instead of "perfect", I go for "good enough" - I dive for recreation.
