Great report and pics Ken, thanks for sharing. You can do a dive at Town Pier during the day now. My last trip we did it with a friend who lives on Bonaire and got us clearance. He video'ed the dive, and it was certainly fun since there were only 4 of us. I did see others entering during the day when we were there.

The red algae...I noticed it much more my last trip as well. Ramon from the Marine Park and a group of volunteers are doing monthly nutrient studies on this (taking samples monthly), and other algaes that are growing that are "new" so they are aware of the issue. I don't believe they have any conclusive information as of yet, but it is being monitored (which is nice to know).
