I just got another policy. I can't remember if there was a check box for scuba but I was asked if I ever flew in an airplane in any capacity other than passenger. I was honest on the scuba thing if it was on there and I told them about the pilot thing. There were no problems approving the policy.

I later called the company and asked if I started some crazy activity like skydiving, bungee jumping, technical scuba diving, or anything of the sort, if my policy could be revoked. They said that the only things that could revoke my policy was if my beneficiary killed me or I committed suicide within 2 years.

I've heard rumors (urban legends?) of tech divers being uninsurable but it didn't come up in all of my paperwork.
