I did not know the diver who died. What I find I would like to know, as I grieve for him as a fellow diver, is little more about who he was and his life. We are all so much greater than the small amount of time that we spend in the water. So often we know so little about the others who share our underwater world with us. It is sometimes because our families and loved ones have been so tolerant of our submerged persuits that we have been able to share this activity with so many of our friends.
