I will enter this into the database for the Catalina Conservancy Divers Catalina Species Archive! (CCD's CSA)

CSA is a database for sightings of unusual and rare marine species in the waters surrounding Catalina Island. If you ever see something unusual, send an email with all the details to rare@ocdiving.com and include photos if you have them.
