So I just found that neither Reef Seekers not Sport Chalet (West Hollywood store) offers free air fills anymore. What a bummer! Those were the two shops I live closest to, so it was really nice, but I was disappointed to see they decided to both start charging.

There goes the only decent reason to still go to Sport Chalet. I asked the manager there why they did it and they said people were sort of taking advantage of it, such as boat cleaners coming in to fill up 6 or 7 tanks on a trip. Well, duh. I'D do that too if I were a boat cleaner.
It's too bad that neither store just limits tank fills to maybe one or two free ones a day, and then you'd just pay for anything over that.

Oh well. It was a nice perk while it lasted, but it's really unfortunate to see it go.
