Need help of a nikonos close up outfit ?

I have a Nikonos V camera , a single Ikelite 200 strobe with these settings 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, Full and TTL My wife also has a 35 mm and a 28 mm lens and a Nikonos Close - up Kit. She hasn't had not luck with her photo's, can someone please help me with the settings. Also should she use the 35 or the 28 for best photo's ? Thanks in advance Hank
