They are probably charging at or below cost assuming a full load on their half of the boat. Ocean Adventures is not a club but a for-profit dive shop which probably wants to take it's own staff for free and make some money to boot. They need to cover that by charging the paying customers more. I think the Whalers are undercharging a bit, or they are getting desperate to fill the boat and loose less money. $245 is probably a good break-even price assuming everyone who goes pays the same.
