I heard through the grapevine that the rebreather diver in question was an accident waiting to happen and that more than one shop had refused to sell him scrubber, etc. or fill o2 bottles for him. Now that is just what I heard, I never personally met the guy. I have met Gary, though, and he is a nice guy and ran a good boat, so I'm sorry to hear that that might be his reason to get out.
