Here is my issue with pre-determined surface intervals:

V-Planner demonstrates that in many cases, depending on depth and time, some surface intervals "need" only be 1 hour, whereas others require up to 6 hours.

Therefore how can one size fit all?

This is a sincere question, not a rant.
