I've got about 1200 dives in Monterey. I've never heard of a site
called "The Breakers". There's a site that called Yankee Pt.
Breakers, but it's rarely dived. There's a very popular dive
called The Breakwater, and it would be great place to see Sea Lions.
Swim all way to the end (but do not go AROUND the end into the
harbor or you may get very unwelcome attention from the USCG
in their Homeland Security role.

MacAbee (aka McAbee) Beach. Beware of rules about diver parking
and changing.

Pt. Lobos State Reserve is probably the best diving of the bunch,
but you need reservations on the weekend (two months in advance)
and it's a bit of a kick.
