The description where he was at the surface and concious long
enough for the DM to swim 2/3 of 700'-800' doesn't seem to fit
OxTox to me.

The O2 sensor wouldn't read 3.0 on 50'. The maximum with pure O2 in the bags, would be 2.52. In practice, it's difficult to pure O2
by purging. High ninetys yes, 100%, no.
