I appreciate your account from your limited vantage point, but what I'm curious about is being where you were does it change your position on solo diving? My point is that all reasonable people, with any knowledge of diving, should agree that if he hadn't resubmerged clearly he would have had a better chance of survival. Whether he would have ultimately survived we'll never know, but we do know for sure what happened when no one was around to keep him afloat. Based upon that, wouldn't you even agree that in the instant case solo diving more then likely removed any chance of survival?
