If he was on the surface as I read earlier and would have inflated his BC and/or dumped weights maybe we would be reading a different story. I watched a panic situation a few weeks ago and not one of the 3 DMs on the boat told him inflate your BC or dump your weights.... how can this be.

Regarding buddies... you should change this to the right buddy; I've been buddied up with people that are dangerous/stupid/careless and all of the above.
