I REALLY enjoyed meeting Tom at the SeaDivers meeting and hearing a bit about his adventures in urchin diving over the last 30 or so years. I picked up a copy of his book and I'm absolutely loving it. I hope to give a more formal review once I finish it. If you enjoy diving in SoCal and like to read about local places and hear tales of local colorful characters then his book is a must-have. I'm impressed with Tom and his book on so many levels that it's hard to know where to start...

My only regret is that I started his book in the middle of a very busy work week. I'm running low on sleep because I'm having a hard time putting it down until the middle of the night every night!
