In a recent thread,some folks were claiming that the DIR folks
don't need ankle weights because their jetfins are so negative.

Today I did some measurements. My little digital fish scale says
an XL jetfin weights 2 pounds 14 ounces in air. It's at most
one ounce negative -- the scale kept cycling between one ounce and
no ountces. And it felt like about an ounce.
