The fins substuite for ankle weights story is pretty lame.. However; You do not need to use ankle weights to maintain trim with a drysuit, if you learn to control suit inflation properly/do not over-inflate. It's easy to learn, just work on your trim and throw them damm ole ankle cuffs in the trash or better yet, save them for paper weights.
