The Leo Carrillo campout is this weekend (Fri-Sun) and you're most welcome to come and hang out for as long as you like. It's a wide open invitation and there is plenty of room available for anyone who wants to sleep over Friday and/or Saturday.

I plan to get there on Friday morning to secure a group of adjacent campsites.

As for food, I'll be bringing some bugs and abalone as well as a few other essentials. Please bring your appetite as well as something to share with your fellow campers. Firewood, extra stoves and lanterns are also useful.

We are hoping to do a night dive at Leo on Friday evening (plan for 7 p.m. or so) to get a few fresh bugs.

There's no hard-and-fast schedule for Saturday but I'd like to try to hit a spot like Pt. Dume in the morning if the conditions warrant. Otherwise, we'll see how it goes.
