Posted by USC Catalina Hyperbaric Chamber on October 12, 2006 at 17:36:13: From 11:00 am on Monday October 16th through approximately 9:00 am Friday October 20th the USC Catalina Hyperbaric Chamber will be off-line while the bilges are cleaned and repainted. This maintenance will help to ensure the integrity of the Chamber and its continual availability to treat divers suffering from arterial gas embolism and decompression sickness. Our Emergency Line will still be staffed during this maintenance. If any diving accidents do occur during this time we will work with the LA County Medical Alert Center to determine the next closest available chamber.
