On the way to the Cortes Bank last Wednesday, between Catalina and the west end of San Clemente that stuff was all over the surface waters. I saw several makos jumping out of the water, problem is, it all happens too fast to get it on video. I have seem Mola do this many times, but have never been able to get it on film either..A couple of years ago i did get a video sequence of a marlin jumping out of the water 7 times~


Most people release their billfish today, but there is no law preventing anyone from killing them...
