The ocean looked pretty flat, so I grabbed my gear after work and rushed over to Marineland. The vis on the main reef was nice enough to see the bottom from 35 feet above. I found the usual critters right away. There are so many there that I never get bored diving the same reef. Today was my 237th dive at Marineland and I was excited about most of the things I saw. A large school of mackerel darted all around me for several minutes. While I was attempting to photograph the Hopkin's Rose nudibranch a Black and Yellow rockfish kept swimming up to my lens. Camera hog!I found some eggs on a scallop that I have not been able to identify. I have also found them on a rock and a clam shell. Temperature at depth was 64F.
