The annual San Francisco Ocean Film Festival, held at the Ft. Mason's Cowell Theater, will run from Friday 19 January to Sunday 21 January, 2007. The film festival celebrates our oceans through films and discussions regarding oceanography, seawater activities, and coastal culture. The films on Friday will be focused on programs for middle and high school students. The weekend films will be appropriate for all ages.

The final deadline for submitting films or nominations of films is 1 November. The content committee has already started to screen the 70+ submissions and will announce the final schedule in late December. If you are interested in assisting with promoting the festival, working in the theater during the festival, or expanding community partner relationships email the committee at info@oceanfilmfest.org.
