On the first Tuesday and Wednesday of bug season the Sea Divers took the Peace to Santa Barbara Island. Weather was not cooperative for the target of Cortes Bank, but we still had a successful bug trip.
Our best bug diving on this trip was from the surf zone out to 60 ft. The biggest bugs came from the shallows for those who were willing to get worked to get them. The best spots in the day were near Arch Point and outside of Webster Point. People who went on the night dive at Sutil Island did quite well. It was a fun trip with many nice bugs.
