If I had taken a tumble during O/W class like I had when we were at Vet's a few weeks ago I probably wouldn't be diving today either. But now I'm addicted enough and stubborn enough to get back out there & get more beach dive practice to get comfortable with it. (Or do a lot more overtime to afford all the boat dives!) A friend who couldn't get through the surf in Laguna for her O/W class finally got certified on a tropical vacation & has yet to dive our cooler water, whether from shore or by boat.
