Not always true. Some of the strongest relationships I've seen are in the Sea Divers. The club isn't that big and just to name a few of the active pair divers:

Tammy and Marcelle
Skylor and Sharon
Chris and Kathryn
Chris and Suzanne (different Chris)
Bob and Carol

Then there are many men who go on Sea Diver trip after Sea Diver trip while their spouses/girlfriends persue other activities.
