I never paid much attention to the small stuff until I began taking pictures. The Serpula columbiana(thanks for the ID Leslie Harris) is tiny and most divers either think it's a small Christmas Tree worm or don't even see it. I now spot the tiny trumpet from a few feet away.
A Gray Whale was videotaped at the Redondo Beach Monument yesterday. I would have probably missed it while staring at tunicates or something small. :)
