I feel comfortable taking apart a Nikonos V, but this one is out of my league. I'm just going to send it back to the factory with some of the slides and let them figure it out. Hopefully they will fix it and it won't happen again. This F100 has been such a flawless toy I've taken a lot granted. They also have one of my Nic V's - $450.00 for an overhaul. Hopefully it will come back like new - not with a new problem. Thanks for all of the input. Does anyone know of a good book on SLR anatomy, physiology, and pathology? Jim Church's book was all I needed for the confidence to do Nic V surgery.
