There's ALWAYS a GWS around Bodega Bay. Seriously, most GWS are migratory, however, some are territorial and do not migrate. Farralon Islands, Guadalupe Islands, Bodega Bay, Morro Bay and many other areas have resident GWS. You just don't see them. I can guarantee if you dive the north coast, you've been checked out by a GWS.
