Insurance for in-water events is an issue. Heal the Bay's insurance covers only BEACH clean ups. Dept. of Parks and Recreation require an insurance policy rider, and I have worked this issue and know what their requirements are. This issue will be discussed at the next GLACD meeting, Monday, November 18th at Lucio's Restaurant in Torrance.

As far as the date is concerned, I am going to propose that the event be held on Sunday, September 16th. I think Paul should be honored on day all his own, but before anyone makes any decisions, "we" should ask Dodie what she wants to do.
