Nice report. We had a flight test engineer on the MD-11 (a variant of the DC-10) that got bent on a flight. He had been on the plane for most of the week and they were doing a bunch of up and down type tests so the plane was going from sea level to 8000 feet many times each day. guess his system just said enough!
