Divers Oil has long been a myth that has circulated among the chic elite.

But the Myth is well rooted in ancient reality that spans back to the time of Alexander. It seems that Alexander would have young boys free-dive among the Mediterranean mouse kelp. The mouse kelp has a particular property in that it secretes a viscous gel like substance. The boys would return to their tents and the substance was scraped off after the boys had to endure hours in hot steam baths. The steam released the substance from their skin.

The resultant goo was then brought to a near boil and the lighter "Oil" was skimmed off in a process that we now call stratified separation. The oil was then mixed with a lye to produce a smooth salve. The salve was placed on the woman's skin. Several hours of this would exfoliate the outer most scaly surface and cause the underlying dermis to tighten in a type of allergic reaction, making the older matrons seem younger.

Hope this clears up the myth
