An overview of the auction listing follows: HydroSports Dive and Travel, located in Salem, Oregon, offers for auction a used Ingersoll-Rand 4R15 high pressure air compressor. HydroSports Dive and Travel has been using this compressor for the past nine years to produce scuba quality breathing air for our diving students and paintball customers. The compressor is operating and recent air quality tests showed that the compressor produced compressed air meeting the Compressed Gas Association Modified Grade E (IANTD) standard. We are selling the compressor because a faster, higher volume compressor was purchased. This compressor is suitable for use producing compressed air for scuba diving or paintball activities. We regularly fill paintball cylinders with compressed air. The compressor produces 3600 psi compressed air (our storage bottles are 3600 psi bottles). The compressor was rebuilt in 1997 by Keith Syphers of Camano Island, Washington and has operated approximately 2500 hours since the rebuild. Synthetic oil has been used in the compressor since it's purchase to allow HydroSports to produce Enriched Air (Nitrox) with the compressor. The compressor uses a readily available Laurence-Factor X-Cell 20 air filter. Oil changes have been done regularly at 100 hour intervals. 220 volt, three phase power 10 horse power electric motor oil pressure gauge inter-stage pressure gauges (4) produces 10 cubic feet of compressed air per minute magnetic starter controls included hour meter included automatic shut off system included automatic condensation system included manual condensation drain system included breathing air filtration system included owners manual included Please contact Mark Fischer, Owner, with questions, mark@hydrosports.com, 503-304-5383.
