I took these pictures of Myroconger nigrodentatus from the Deep See submarine at Cocos Island Costa Rica. I never knew what kind of eel this was until it was IDed for me today by Ross Robertson of the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute. I was at a depth of about 1000 feet when I took these pictures December 28, 2005.
