One thing that older divers may be more comfortable with than newer ones is blowing off safety stops... since we always used
to skip them with no apparent ill effects. Of course I have other bad habits as well.
One advantage to solo is not particularly worrying about a buddy. Though I've been places I was really wondering where the
other divers were.... Standing on the swim step at midnight looking for the flash of a light... It may not help, but I always look
