Some sad news

Marcus Crane, a great diver, a great friend, and a hell of a nice guy was killed yesterday in an auto accident on River Rd. in Sonoma County.
Marcus was a regular at our annual North Coast dive party and even made it down to Jon's Socal campout. Jon I'm sorry you have to read this. John Hayes called me today and told me. Everyone up here is devastated.

I took Marcus out for his first ever newbie, just out of open water tank dive off my boat up in Mendocino. I didn't know him from Adam but we hit it off and he's come back every year.

He will be sorely missed.
