Some suggestions from a pannel of experts:

Mark: Weld it shut.
Elaine: Sell a custom sterio system and buy a new valve.
John: Buy a new dry suit. Install the old valve. If it still leaks, yes, you have diagnosed that the valve is the problem.
Mark: Take the valve out. Dive in the suit. If it still leaks without the valve - then you know it wasn't a vavle problem.
Debbie: I can't be mean. Remember, duct tape fixes everything.
