I have another one that is more dive boat related.

Spring of 1998. It was an early Saturday morning at Catalina.

A ledgendary dive boat Captain was overheard saying the
following about the time his boat group's first dive was to
start;

" Diiiivers... We're here at Long Point. The anchor is in 100
feet of water. It's shallow right off the stern of the boat so if you want... huh? You can't hear me? (insert expletive for
Shoot!)"

He was broadcasting his dive briefing on CH 16, not over the
boat's PA.
