i remember in the late 80's a rather prominent boater accidentally set his VHF mike down on the key and was blaring punk rock @25 watts for an extended period of time.... The CG actually sent one of their hilos out to the Avalon bank and made him 'aware' of his indiscretion.

another time i heard a sportboat skipper on the way back from cataline talk about finding a baby rabit afloat on a kelp paddi. he shot the rabit, then bragged about rabit hunting ....sick bastage!
