We made a decision late Friday afternoobn that we couldn't make SBI and opted for Catalina, leaving Saturday morning. We made it about three miles out (I was not on the boat so this is what they told me) and turned around due to rough seas that seemed to be getting rougher.

I'm not so sure how diveable the island was. Karl at the Chamber told me the wind was blowing pretty much on shore and that it was pretty choppy. It was rough enough that the Express going into the Isthmus couldn't dock at their main pier and instead had to use the Chmaber pier (which is more shletered).

I know the Great Escape made it over today (Sunday) but haven't heard yet how the diving was.
