Most stores get them for anywhere from $90-110 since they're ordering only a few at a time. (And the price has gone up since January 1.) If a store has a price-matching policy, they could certainly be in a position where they're making $10-20 on a tank. If they give a 10% club-member disocunt off the $119, then they can lose a couple of bucks. It has nothing to do with being "well-connected".
