Big Island Diving |

Got back from the Big Island a few weeks ago and made some really nice shore dives. Mahukona (north island, the old sugar mill) was one of my favorites. Also like Ke'ei near Kealakekua Bay. Honaunau was great as always- man what a dive! Dove Alua Beach near Honokohau Harbor. Great dive but didn't care lots for the boat traffic. The Old Kona Airport is still one of my favorites. Still think for the money, Catalina is one of the very best dives around. Anyway, I'm going to book my airline ticket for next December- right now there about 214 each way- not bad. Staying in a condo seems like the way to go also. Damn nice diving. I'm getting older and thinking I'll just move there, drive a garbage truck or work at Taco bell and dive everyday. Take care, B.
