Looking to get more out your diving and make new friends while helping protect California’s reefs? Then join Reef Check and become an important part of a statewide network of divers and scientists working together to get an accurate assessment of our nearshore ocean health. Upcoming trainings are scheduled this spring and summer for San Diego, Orange County, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Monterey, and Santa Rosa.


We all know the health of California’s Reefs isn’t what it used to be. Reef Check teams give divers the opportunity to join together and find out what the real status of our reefs are and help shape the effective management of our precious resources.
