Sometimes the squid runs can last for weeks. I had a sinus infection last week and missed making Merry's 100th dive with her. She saw a lot of cool animals, including spending ten minutes with a baby Giant Seabass. I was able to dive Wednesday and didn't see much, had bad vis and high surf, but it was still good to be back in the water.
If you feel better soon you should check out the canyon. Even if you miss the squid, the critters who feed on the eggs will be around. It sucks getting sick when we have an ocean right here to explore.
