What's Killing the Sea Otters?

As a friend of the aquarium, we thought you'd like to know that our
conservation work with sea otters and our sea otter exhibit will be
featured on Tuesday, February 6 at 7:30 p.m. during the inaugural
broadcast of "QUEST"--a new PBS television series from KQED about
environmental and science issues in Northern California. "QUEST" will
air on all KQED/Northern California Public Broadcasting stations.

We've previewed the show, and it's beautifully filmed, compelling and
informative. It shows the difficult, challenging, rewarding and
exciting work of our sea otter researchers and aquarists. It also
shares an inspiring story about the power of our live exhibits--and
of individuals--to make a difference for sea otters.

If you can't see "QUEST" on TV in your community, you can watch the
sea otter segment online.

The KQED website has more information about sea otter conservation,
and a place for you to comment about the episode and what people can
do to help sea otters. To learn more about the aquarium's work to save
sea otters, please visit our web site.

We hope you enjoy the program. Thank you again for your support.
