Saw one at Hermosa Pier on Sat and Sun just past the surfers in the Surftech contest (my 15 year old daughter took a 2nd and 3rd in shortboard and long board respectively).

So few noticed. On the Sunday sighting it was lolling at the surface for a while then went down -- no flukes showing. Then 5 min later it blew and dropped again. Then it was gone.
